Joseph-Que was started with the passion and drive of a home cook whom taught himself the many methods of outdoor cooking. Cooking for friends and family members he noticed his homemade seasonings were getting some serious attention. We also noticed that the commercially available options that we were using were loaded with mystery ingredients such as Monosodium Glutamate, Calcium Phosphate, Yellow 5, and Red 40. So we choose signature ingredients like our Naturally Smoked Salts, Demerara Sugar, and California sourced Garlic and Paprika. We incorporated food science into our blends by studying flavor profiles and worked endlessly in our test kitchen to develop these blends. Every rub is also made with family in mind as the name itself Joseph has been passed down from generation to generation much like the recipes that we intend to share with you.
