Honey Walnut Shrimp Salad

This recipe will surely turn heads when you present this sweet and savory shrimp over a bed of luscious greens, salty feta cheese, and sweet crunchy walnuts.


· 1/2lb Peeled and Deveined Shrimp

· 1tsp of Grandpa Joes’ Honey Chipotle from Joseph-Que Craft rubs or mix 1/2tsp Salt, 1/2tsp Pepper, 1/2tsp Garlic powder, ½ tsp Chili powder mixed together.

· 2 tbsp Canola Oil

· 2 cloves Garlic minced

· ¼ cup honey

· 2 tablespoons soy sauce

· 1 Bag Salad mix with red cabbage

· 1 bag honey glazed walnut pieces 3.5oz

· 4oz crumbled feta cheese

· Small handful dried cranberries


1) Start grill and heat cast iron skillet over medium high heat with canola oil

2) Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 mins per side.

3) Remove shrimp, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds

4) Add in honey and soy sauce and whisk together

5) Cook for 1 min until reduced and add shrimp back to coat.

6) Create salad bed with greens and add walnuts, cranberries and cheese then add shrimp and pan glaze to top of salad. Serve immediately.
